Location: Nestled in the center of downtown New Haven. The hotel is one block from the Shubert Performing Arts Center and New Haven Green, two blocks from historic Yale University. It is also within walking distance from the Yale Repertory Theatre, the Yale Center for British Arts, Yale Art Gallery and the Peabody Museum of Natural History. It is approximately 10 minutes from the Connecticut Tennis Center and the Yale Bowl and approximately 20 minutes from outlet shopping. It is a 90-minute train ride on the metro north commuter rail from Grand Central Station and 1 1/2 hours from Foxwoods Casinos. The Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale is 10-15 miles from public beaches, sailing and boat charters on Long Island Sound.

Take the airport exit north, the road name changes to JFK Expressway. Take the ramp right onto I-678 (Van Wyck Expressway). Turn right onto ramp towards I-95. Take ramp right onto I-95 (Bruckner Expressway) towards New England/Connecticut. At Exit 47, take ramp left onto SR-34 towards CT-34/Downtown New Haven.
