The Eagle Mountain House boasts a rich 130 year history. Originally built in 1879, this beautiful Bed and Breakfast was replaced in 1915, and is now a member of the Historic Hotels of America and on the Register of Historic Places. Noted for its simple charm and friendly service. Enjoy spectacular mountain and valley views from our 280-foot wrap around veranda from one of our 95 charming rooms and suites.   • Exit to Interstate 293 North. Follow I-293/Interstate 93 and take EXIT 23 -to Meredith/New Hampton. Follow NH-104 through Meredith, turn right onto NH-25. Follow NH-25 to NH-16. Turn left and follow NH-16 to Glen, NH. In Glen turn right onto Route 16 North to Jackson. Turn right and go through the Red Covered Bridge into Jackson Village and bear left at the fork in the road. Cross the stone bridge and turn right onto Carter Notch Road and follow up the hill 3/4 mile to Eagle Mountain House. Beware of moose and deer when driving particularly around dawn and dusk.
  • Exit airport following Interstate 90 -Mass Pike. Upon leaving the tunnel follow Interstate 93 North and exit onto Interstate 95 North. Follow I-95 North to Portsmouth, NH and veer left on the Spaulding Turnpike/Route 16 North. Continue to follow NH-16 through North Conway to Glen, NH. In Glen turn right onto Route 16 North to Jackson. Turn right and go through the Red Covered Bridge into Jackson Village and bear left at the fork in the road. Cross the stone bridge and turn right onto Carter Notch Road and follow up the hill 3/4 mile to Eagle Mountain House. Beware of moose and deer when driving particularly around dawn and dusk.

Turn left at the end of the ramp and travel west and follow Route 25 through Gorham until you reach Cornish, ME. Just before entering Cornish you will turn right onto Maine Route 113 and follow this road until it ends in Fryeburg, Maine. At the stop sign you will turn left onto ROUTE 302. Continue to follow route 302 through North Conway to Glen, NH. In Glen turn right onto Route 16 North to Jackson. Turn right and go through the Red Covered Bridge into Jackson Village and bear left at the fork in the road.
